Cybersurf internet service down and technical support unavailable

We had a couple of articles lined up about Québec’s provincial election, which saw Premier Jean Charest’s Liberals win a razor thin majority last night, the Parti Québécois regain its status as the official opposition and Mario Dumont resign as leader of the Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) following his party’s truly disastrous performance. Unfortunately, we can’t upload this new material at the moment, because our internet service provider is down and their tech support is missing in action.

We rely on 3Web CIA Cybersurf for our internet access, but we have been unable to access the web as of earlier this evening and it is absolutely impossible to contact anyone at 3Web Cybersurf. Despite the fact that tech support is supposedly available from 8AM to midnight (EST), it isn’t even possible to get through to 3Web’s telephone menu, as it is pre-empted by an automated message indicating that all service representatives are occupied with other clients. One of the biggest unsolved mysteries surrounding 3Web CIA Cybersurf is precisely how many service representatives the company actually has, because this user has thus far never been able to speak over the phone with a single one of them.

Those who have relied on 3Web CIA Cybersurf over the years are probably accustomed to this company’s truly dismal customer service which, at the moment, appears to be entirely non-existent. To make matters worse, the company’s various websites appear to be down at the moment as well.

  • I have also the same problem .My CIA internet is not working
    probably after 8 pm.

  • I did not have any problem. I did once in the past but it was obvious this was downtime was because of Bell who provides connectivity to them. I use to have services with Rogers, but they had downtime too. I dont think any of the providers are perfect.

  • the writer of this initial article does not say how long had the internet been down. was it an hour? two hours? two days? two weeks? two months? two years?
    there is NO internet provider in the world that does not experience technical glitches. 3web/cia.com IS not an exception to this necessary and continuous fine tuning of what still is a pretty new technological innovation. even when you watch your good old tv, you still get moments/times of disruption. the same applies to all other utilities. so, i am not so sure what is such a big deal about that that the internet is down for an hour or two. keep also in mind that 3web/cia.com basically resells the services of other major cable/phone companies, such as shaw, rogers, bell, etc. 3web/cia.com provides the same product but at a fraction of their cost.
    perhaps i could allow you that at least you should be able to get in touch with them to find out when the problem will be fixed. but, bear in mind that were they to have a lovely assistant available to chat with you at least once a month, they would have to increase your service charge by the the very same cost that this spent work time would entail. so, now i hope you understand that you do have this choice: you pay at least twice as much for some phony security coming from the mouth of a sweet blond or you bear it on your own and wait the same amount of time that it takes to fix the problem but at half the monthly rate that the other bigger companies charge.
    personally, i am with them for more than 10 years, from the time when they were offering free dial up internet. since then they have managed to evolve to a national company that strives to give a break to little guy. and no, i am not on any commission from them, but just recognizing that there is fairness in this exchange that is not matched yet by any other provider in this field in canada. feel free to chat some more with me, for free, LOL: [email protected]
