Slovakia gave up the last strand of its economic sovereignty earlier this week, for what this Eastern European country’s political leaders hope will provide it with stability during the global financial crisis. A budapesti Magyar Hírlap című egykor még liberális, most pedig kimondottan jobboldali napilapban publikáló Szentesi Zöldi László december 26-án arról írt, hogy Gyurcsány Ferenc miniszterelnök úgy tud kormányozni, mintha a szocialistáknak többségük lenne az Országgyűlésben.
